Mirziyoyev departs for Turkey

Today, June 5, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan embarked on an official visit to Turkey at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, according to the President's press service.
During the visit, the presidents of Uzbekistan and Turkey will convene the third meeting of the high-level Strategic Cooperation Council in Ankara.
The agenda also includes the first joint meeting with the heads of major enterprises and companies from both nations.
Ahead of this visit, a Uzbekistan-Turkey business forum took place in Ankara, featuring a presentation of proposed public-private partnership projects.
