Mirziyoyev congratulated Xi Jinping

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, congratulated the President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, on his 70th birthday. This was reported by the press secretary of the President, Sherzod Asadov.

“Under your direct leadership, the friendly Chinese people have achieved great achievements and universal successes in recent years. Large-scale reforms aimed at lifting the population out of poverty, ending poverty, and building a moderately prosperous society are being effectively implemented,” says Mirziyoyev’s letter.

Mirziyoyev also emphasized that due to Xi Jinping’s attention, Uzbekistan-China relations are being strengthened in every way and are rising to a new level in terms of quality.

“There is no doubt that the results of my recent state visit to the People’s Republic of China and the outcomes of our meaningful negotiations within the framework of the first ‘Central Asia – China’ summit held in Xi’an will contribute to the strengthening of comprehensive strategic partnership relations,” the letter says.

Mirziyoyev invited Xi Jinping to pay an official visit to Uzbekistan and wished him a long life, good health, family happiness, new successes in the activities of extremely responsible and honorable statecraft, and lasting peace, prosperity, and blessings for the Chinese people.
