Mirziyoyev departs for working visit to Namangan

Today, September 16, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed from Tashkent for the Namangan region, the presidential press service reported.
The two-day program includes familiarization with newly launched facilities in the industrial, agricultural, energy, and social sectors, as well as a meeting on the comprehensive development of the region.
The head of state will also take part in the opening ceremony of the third International Forum “From Poverty to Prosperity” and deliver a speech.
In addition, a meeting is planned on issues concerning the socio-economic development of the region.
It is worth noting that Mirziyoyev last visited Namangan on March 25, 2024. During that visit, he criticized responsible ministries and regional leaders for failing to fully utilize the region’s potential.
