Mirziyoyev visits Moscow today

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will embark on a business trip to Moscow, Russia, on October 7-8, as the President’s press service announced.
“The head of state will participate in the events of the upcoming meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS,” the statement said.
It is worth noting that Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov previously mentioned that Russian President Vladimir Putin, who turns 72 on October 7, will celebrate his birthday while working. Peskov added that Putin will spend the evening of October 7 with the leaders of the CIS countries.
