Mirziyoyev visits the Aerospace Company in Ankara

6334On June 6, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan visited Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. in Ankara as part of his official trip. The President's press service announced his engagement with the company's operations.
President Mirziyoyev was shown various product samples, the manufacturing process, and the outcomes of the company's scientific collaborations with international partners.
Established in 1984, Turkish Aerospace Industries is Turkey's premier technology hub for designing, developing, modernizing, manufacturing, and integrating aerospace systems, including fixed and rotary wing aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, and satellites.
In 2023, Turkish Aerospace Industries was ranked among the world's top 100 defense companies, boasting an annual revenue of $1.5 billion.
The company employs over 15,000 people, including approximately 7,000 engineers and more than 6,500 technicians and other workers.
During the visit, President Mirziyoyev was also introduced to the activities of other Turkish defense industry enterprises specializing in a diverse array of weapons and military equipment.
The visit concluded with demonstration flights showcasing various aviation technologies.
