A special charter flight will be organized on the Doha - Vientiane - Tashkent route to facilitate the Uzbekistan national football team's upcoming matches in the World Cup qualifiers. This information was shared by the press service of the Football Association of Uzbekistan.
The national team is set to compete in two matches: on November 14 in Qatar against the host team and on November 19 in Laos against North Korea. To ensure the team's comfort during these away games, the Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA) has planned this special flight.
As of now, Uzbekistan holds second place in its qualifying group with 10 points after four rounds of play. Iran, with an equal point total, sits in first place.
Additionally, it was previously reported that the Uzbekistan national team's chances of qualifying for the World Cup have significantly increased. Under the guidance of coach Srechko Katanets, the team currently boasts a 93.1 percent probability of securing a spot in the tournament.
