In Chirchik, Tashkent region, a young man who posted a video claiming he would beat his father in exchange for 100,000 "likes" was arrested after the video circulated widely. The case was reviewed by the Chirchik City Court on criminal cases, according to Bobur Tolaganov, the press secretary for the General Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Tashkent region.

The individual, born in 2000, was found guilty of petty hooliganism under Article 183 of Uzbekistan's Code of Administrative Responsibility. As a result, he was sentenced to 15 days of administrative detention.

Tolaganov emphasized the need for responsible behavior on social media, reminding users that while freedom of creativity is valued, it should not come at the cost of breaking the law. He warned that any offense or crime committed online could lead to serious consequences.

This case is part of a broader crackdown on inappropriate online behavior. Recently, tiktoker Sardar Safarboyev was also investigated after he shared a controversial video stating that he would throw a girl child in the garbage, leading to significant public backlash.
