Creating conditions for private medicine is a benefit for us – Mirziyoyev

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the activities of the private medical center in Fergana.  This was reported by the Presidential Press Service.

It is noted that there are 720 private medical institutions in the Fergana region.  President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the conditions created in one of these clinics.

This clinic was established in 2021, and modern equipment from Germany, South Korea, Japan, and China was brought here.  The hospital has 120 inpatient beds and the capacity to perform 2,000 surgical operations per year.

It is worth noting that a university was opened at the medical center last year.  600 students are studying now.  Thus, this institution has become a medical cluster that combines modern clinics, diagnostic centers, laboratories, and a university.

During the visit, the head of state talked with doctors.

"It paid off for us to create conditions for private medicine, the population accepted it because our people are trying to live well and take care of their health.  All our efforts to increase the income of the population are for this reason - for the healthy and prosperous life of our people," said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
