High-speed Range Rover causes fatal accident in Samarkand

On October 10, a tragic accident occurred in Samarkand region when the driver of a Range Rover lost control and crashed into a Lacetti Optra, resulting in the death of the Lacetti driver.
The incident took place at 01:00 on the Great Silk Road street in the "Zulfia" neighborhood, according to the regional DIA Road Safety Department.
The Range Rover, traveling at high speed, struck the Lacetti Optra from behind before colliding with a parked Damas vehicle. Despite efforts, the driver of the Lacetti Optra succumbed to injuries in the hospital.
A criminal case has been initiated, and a preliminary investigation is ongoing.
This follows another recent accident in the Kashkadarya region, where two people died in a collision between a Labo and a Mercedes-Benz in Guzor district.
