64 Uzbek travelers who were stranded along the road in Kazakhstan's Oqmola region have been successfully evacuated. This information was disclosed by "Kazinform," citing the press service of the local emergency department.

According to the authorities, on February 15, a passenger bus traveling from Astana to Chelyabinsk experienced mechanical issues near Jaqsi village on the Jaqsi-Esil-Buziliq route.

Upon receiving the distress call, rescuers from Jaqsi district, Ayaz Maqashev and Saylaubek Qazjimuratov, promptly responded and transported the 64 passengers, including 17 children, to a nearby shelter at secondary school No. 1 in Jaqsi village. No medical assistance was required by the passengers, as stated in the report.

It's worth noting that Uzbek citizens were previously involved in an incident on February 13, when a fire broke out in Aqtau city, Kazakhstan.
