Kazakhstan expresses gratitude to Uzbekistan

The Football Federation of Kazakhstan has conveyed its appreciation to Uzbekistan for successfully organizing the FIFA Futsal World Championship. This announcement was made by the press service of the Football Federation of Kazakhstan.
"We are immensely grateful to Uzbekistan for organizing an unforgettable World Cup. The first official FIFA competitions held in Central Asia took place in Tashkent, Andijan, and Bukhara. We all witnessed a historic event, and the warm support from our brotherly country will remain in our hearts forever. Thank you very much!" stated the federation.
For context, Kazakhstan, which began its journey in Group D, advanced to the quarter-finals of the tournament. In a stunning upset, the Kazakh national team defeated Portugal, the reigning champions, in the semi-finals, creating one of the biggest sensations of the championship.
Earlier, it was reported that FIFA President Gianni Infantino also expressed his gratitude to the government of Uzbekistan for its exceptional hosting of the event.
