Fatality Reported as a Result of a House Fire in Kashkadarya

The Regional Emergency Department reported that 1 person has died as a result of a fire in an apartment in the Koson district of Kashkadarya region. 

Yesterday the 10th of May at approximately 03:59 a.m., the rescue service received a report about a fire in one of the apartments on Shuhrat street, Upper “Arabkhana” neighborhood, Koson district.

According to the report, 1 fire-rescue unit from the District Emergency Management Department arrived immediately at the scene and the fire was completely extinguished around 04:30 a.m.  As a result of the fire, 28 square meters of the interior and the roof of the house were damaged.  An area of 150 square meters of the apartment was saved from the fire.  Furthermore, one citizen, (The house owner's husband), succumbed to severe burns and died at the location.

Representatives of the relevant industry are currently carrying out investigations.
