People were caught producing unusable oil in Kashkadarya

Cases of producing unusable oil products were discovered in the Shahrisabz and Guzor districts of the Kashkadarya region, according to the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor's Office.

During joint operations conducted by the Shahrisabz city and Guzor district departments, in cooperation with the DIA officers, citizen F.N. was found producing oil illegally in a building in the "Khontepa" neighborhood of Shahrisabz district. Similarly, citizen H.N. was discovered engaging in illegal oil production on an auxiliary farm in the "Eskibog" neighborhood of the Guzor district, where secret workshops had been set up.

Authorities confiscated 211 liters of non-consumable oil, 146 kg of seeds, 3 pieces of jujube equipment, and other production-related materials from these workshops as physical evidence.

Criminal cases have been initiated in connection with these incidents under Article 186-2 of the Criminal Code (illegal production or distribution of products obtained from seeds), and investigations are ongoing.

It’s worth noting that earlier, it was reported that individuals smuggling drugs worth 1.6 billion soums from Kyrgyzstan were arrested.
