Students were forced to stand in the rain for being late to school in Kashkadarya

A video circulating on social media has sparked outrage, showing students in the Kashkadarya region being forced to stand in the rain as punishment for arriving late to class. The regional department of preschool and school education has stated in response to the incident.

The event occurred at school No. 96 in the Chiraqchi district, where approximately 20 students were made to stand in a row in the rain. Disturbingly, the school administration filmed the incident.

The regional education department has since initiated a formal investigation into the matter.

“The study is being conducted by established procedures, and additional information will be provided following the investigation,” the department's report stated.

This incident follows another controversial event where individuals from the Ishtikhan district of the Samarkand region staged a circus performance involving a boa constrictor at a preschool in the Kushrabot district. Authorities later documented the unauthorized presence of the python and transferred it to the regional Department of Ecology in compliance with legal protocols.
