Videos depicting emergency medical service workers engaging in birthday celebrations during their work in the Kashkadarya region have surfaced on social media. In response to this, the Regional Health Department has taken steps to address the situation.

Upon investigation, it was determined that this incident involved emergency medical service workers from the Guzar district. Disciplinary measures have been implemented against the department head, head nurse, and two duty nurses of the Guzar district emergency medical station, in accordance with relevant articles of the Labor Code.

The regional Department of Health, however, has not disclosed the specific nature of the punishment meted out to the implicated employees.

It is noteworthy that a previous incident occurred in Namangan, where an ambulance, with two drivers and a paramedic, was involved in a traffic accident resulting in the death of one driver.

Subsequently, a criminal case was initiated in connection with this unfortunate situation.
