One person dies in an accident at Kamchik Pass

A traffic accident in Kamchik Pass resulted in one fatality. This was reported by the Road Safety Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
The incident occurred on October 11 at 5:45 AM along the A-373 "Tashkent-Osh" highway in the Pop district of the Namangan region. A 38-year-old driver, operating a Toyota Prado, struck a pedestrian who was crossing the road at an unmarked location. The 28-year-old pedestrian sustained severe injuries and died at the scene.
Additionally, it is worth noting that there was a previous accident in the Almazor district of Tashkent involving a Spark and a Matiz. In that incident, the driver of the Spark died on the spot from his injuries, while two passengers in the vehicle and the driver of the Matiz were taken to the hospital for medical assistance.
