“Qamchiq” pass has been reopened for car traffic

Earlier, it was reported that the 229th kilometer of the A-373 highway passing through the "Qamchiq" pass was covered with mud and sandstone mass due to hailstorms. The road has now been reopened. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations(MES).
"Tashkent-Vodiy" direction of the road was opened for traffic at 00:55 as a result of the necessary practical actions taken to eliminate the consequences of the situation with the help of the MES and related organizations. At 02:45, the route "Vodiy-Tashkent" was also opened.
"There were no injuries or deaths as a result of the incident. The situation is under control. The MES employees are helping the drivers and passengers stuck at the pass by distributing hot drinks and snacks in the tents," the report says.
