Carelessness leads to fatal fall in Kamchik Pass

6675Two men tragically lost their lives after falling from a mountain peak in the Kamchik pass on January 8. The incident was confirmed by Hayot Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the Prosecutor General's Office, in response to inquiries from QALAMPIR.UZ.
The accident occurred at approximately 15:30 near the 141st kilometer of the Tashkent-Namangan highway (Southern Bypass). The victims, both born in 1993 and residents of the Rishton district in the Fergana region, were visiting the mountain peak with classmates for leisure. Unfortunately, due to a moment of carelessness, they fell from the peak and died on the spot.
The Pop District Police Department in the Namangan region received the report and initiated an inquiry. Forensic medical examinations have been ordered to determine the exact cause of death. Pre-investigation measures are currently being undertaken as part of the ongoing process.
This tragic incident serves as a reminder of the risks associated with mountain excursions and the importance of safety precautions.
