A citizen who went to work in Bulgaria and had his documents and money stolen was returned to Uzbekistan. This was reported by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul.

According to the report, J.M., a 30-year-old citizen, approached the consulate after finding himself in a difficult situation in Istanbul without money or documents. He sought assistance in returning to Uzbekistan.

In September of this year, J.M. had flown to Turkey from Bulgaria. On the same day, his bag was stolen near the "Sultan Ahmed" mosque in the Fatih district of Istanbul.

The General Consulate issued J.M. a certificate for his return to Uzbekistan and provided him with temporary accommodation in Turkey.

Additionally, with the support of the Istanbul office of JSC "Uzbekistan Airways" and a group of Uzbeks, a plane ticket was purchased for J.M., and he was subsequently returned to Uzbekistan.
