The interest of Spaniards in Uzbekistan is on the rise

According to the Statistics Agency, 13,426 tourists from Spain visited Uzbekistan in the last 10 months, which is twice the number from the previous year. Specifically, in 2022, 6,300 Spanish tourists explored Uzbekistan, while this year, the figure for the first 10 months has already surpassed 13,000.

The agency's data indicates that out of these tourists, 10,087 visited for recreation, 2,459 for business, and 865 for visiting relatives.

The monthly breakdown of Spanish tourists to Uzbekistan is as follows:

•    January: 137 people
•    February: 186 people
•     March: 534 people
•    April: 1,503 people
•    May: 1,629 people
•    June: 1,318 people
•    July: 1,027 people
•    August: 1,744 people
•    September: 2,498 people
•    October: 2,850 people

For context, a total of 3.7 million foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourist purposes in January-July 2023, with 397,300 of them coming for recreation.
