Uzbekistan's Energy Security Concept is set to be developed by December 25 of this year. This directive was issued today, December 14, during a meeting chaired by Prosecutor General Nigmatilla Yuldashev and the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The meeting brought together representatives from the Prosecutor General's Office, Customs Committee, Ministries of Internal Affairs, Energy, Emergencies, Water Resources, Higher Education, Science and Innovations, Uzenergoinspection, and key strategic enterprises, alongside other responsible departments.

To oversee the development, a working group has been formed, comprising members from the Prosecutor General's Office, Ministry of Energy, relevant ministries and departments, scientific institutions, and major strategic enterprises. This group was tasked with creating the Energy Security Concept by studying advanced international practices and tailoring them to Uzbekistan's needs.

During the meeting, participants presented their proposals and feedback, marking the beginning of the drafting process for the Energy Security Concept. The concept aims to address critical energy challenges and ensure long-term energy stability in the country.
