A 23-year-old man committed suicide in the temporary detention center of Bekobad city, Tashkent region. Hayat Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the General Prosecutor’s Office, informed KALAMPIR.UZ about this.
According to him, on June 17 of this year at 01:00, A.S., born in 2000, who was held in the temporary detention center of the Internal Affairs Department of Bekobad city, tied a sheet to the fence of the detention cell and hanged himself. During the process, he was saved by his cellmates.
Currently, the Bekobad city prosecutor’s office is conducting an investigation into this situation.
