President of FIFA meets with the delegation of Uzbekistan in Paris

Yesterday, on July 30, the President of the International Football Federation (FIFA), Gianni Infantino, met with representatives of the delegation of Uzbekistan at the organization's office in Paris and posted about it on his official page.

"Uzbekistan will be the first country in Central Asia to host an international competition within the framework of FIFA. The country will host the FIFA Futsal World Championship from September 14 to October 6. I thanked them for their great work in preparing for this historic competition and wished them luck. The draw ceremony held in Samarkand in May showed what we can expect from Uzbekistan. I anticipate this country will host a wonderful and beautiful tournament," said Infantino.

The President of FIFA also noted in his message that during the event, he handed over the official trophy of the FIFA Futsal World Championship to Uzbekistan. Additionally, he mentioned that it was nice to see the exhibit of Ravshan Yermatov's time as a judge in the museum at the office in Paris.
