Farrukh Zokirov becomes People's Artist of Azerbaijan

The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has signed a decree awarding the honorary title of "People's Artist" to Farrukh Zokirov. This was announced by the President's press service.
It is noted that Farrukh Karimovich Zokirov was granted this prestigious title for his contributions to the development of cultural relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At 78 years old, Farrukh Zokirov holds the title of People's Artist in seven countries: Uzbekistan, Karakalpakstan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Ingushetia, Tatarstan, and Bashkortostan.
It should be noted that Nasiba Abdullayeva was previously awarded the title of People's Artist of Azerbaijan, and Azerbaijani singer Gulyanaq Mammadova was named People's Artist of Uzbekistan.
