Yesterday, on August 8, a citizen of Fergana posted a video message on social networks saying that an internal affairs officer of Toshloq district hit him and injured him.

Regional Department of Internal Affairs responded to the situation.

It was found that on July 29 of this year, citizen M.T.  was summoned to the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the appeal of the disclosure of the land area belonging to him.

At that time, he was unreasonably dissatisfied with the work of preventive inspectors and used various insulting words against the employees.  Moreover, he continued this work even after going out.

After that, the prevention inspectors took him by the hands and took him to the service room in order to calm him down and told him that the implementation of his previous appeals was ensured and that they were delaying him to issue an explanation letter regarding his latest application.  After that, he was sent home.

“But M.T.  spread unsubstantiated and false news about Internal Affairs officers on social networks,” the official statement said.

It is noted that the employees of the internal affairs bodies have appealed to the relevant bodies regarding the actions of citizen M.T.

Also, the actions of the employees of the Internal Affairs bodies are being investigated.

It should be noted that 125 complaints were received by the Ombudsman regarding mental, psychological, physical pressure or other forms of pressure on persons detained in closed institutions with limited freedom.
