In Fergana city, deceitful beggars were detected and penalized. This was disclosed in the "Zamon" news program.

According to reports, two young men, originating from Bukhara, purchased a wheelchair from a pharmacy despite being in good health. One of them begged in public while the other pushed the wheelchair.

"The situation caught the attention of local law enforcement officers, leading to the issuance of an administrative citation against them," the report stated.

Each of the young men was sentenced to 10 days of administrative detention by the Fergana City Criminal Court under Article 188, Part 3 (pertaining to begging) of the Code of Administrative Responsibility.

It's worth noting that previously, a man who vandalized several tombstones in a Tashkent cemetery was sentenced to 3 years in prison.
