In Fergana, a school teacher was fined for giving more than four ballots to a single voter, as confirmed by QALAMPIR.UZ after reviewing the court's decision.

The court case against 38-year-old M.A. took place on October 29 in the Dangara district court. According to the ruling, M.A. became a member of the election commission at polling station No. 541 in Dangara district on August 26 by appointment from the district governor. However, during the October 27 election, M.A. violated regulations governing the voting process for electing deputies to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and regional, district, and city councils by issuing more than four ballots to voter M.M., breaching election conduct laws.

In court, M.A. admitted to the violation, expressing regret for her actions. She was found guilty under Article 51-10 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility, which addresses violations in the ballot issuance procedure and was fined 375,000 soums, equivalent to one base calculation amount.

The fine will be directed to the state income account.

It’s worth noting that on October 27, the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan emerged as the winning party in the recent parliamentary elections.
