Mohammad Ali Iskandariy was appointed as the new ambassador of Iran to Uzbekistan. This announcement was made by Uzbekistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, on his Telegram channel.

"We are pleased to receive copies of the letters of credence from Mr. Mohammad Ali Iskandariy, who has been appointed as the ambassador of Iran to Uzbekistan. We wish the ambassador success in his career in our country," said Saidov.

It is noted that the parties discussed the priority tasks before the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of both countries regarding the expansion of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Iran.
It is worth mentioning that in September of this year, the former Iranian ambassador to Uzbekistan, Hamid Nayrabadi, concluded his assignment
