There were reports on social media that electricity bills were being charged at double the usual amount. "Regional Electric Networks" JSC issued an official response to address the situation.
They explained that due to a technical glitch in the payment systems, payments appeared to reflect a higher balance than what was accurate. However, the current billing system processes electricity payments correctly and forms accurate balances.
The company assured that the technical issues would be resolved as soon as possible. They also advised consumers to verify their electricity bill details through the Personal Cabinet on the official website of JSC "Territorial Electric Networks.”
