Errors in electricity consumption calculations reported

11638Reports on social networks indicate that some consumers who should have a positive electricity balance are instead showing as being in debt. The Ministry of Energy has provided official information regarding the situation.
According to the Ministry, due to ongoing technical work on the newly launched REN Billing system by "Regional Electric Networks" JSC, some consumers are appearing in debt even though they are entitled to electricity. In such cases, consumers will not be disconnected from the network. Citizens are assured that the issue will be resolved once the technical work is completed.
Consumers are advised to monitor their balance through the "Personal Cabinet" on the "Regional Electric Networks" JSC website.
It was previously reported that a new billing program for electricity calculation was launched in Uzbekistan. Through the new REN Billing software, consumers can now make online payments for electricity and monitor their account information. The updated system allows consumers to directly track their electricity bills, including payment details, daily electricity consumption, and other relevant information online.
