A fight at the gas station in Dangara ended in death

A fatal incident occurred at a gas station in the Dangara district of the Fergana region, resulting in the death of a 23-year-old man. Hayat Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, reported this tragedy.

According to reports, on February 3 of this year, a dispute unfolded involving three individuals at a gas station in Dangara district. During the altercation, a person born in 2001 attempted to intervene and prevent further aggression. Unfortunately, this individual lost consciousness and succumbed to death while being transported to the hospital.

In response to the incident, the investigation team of the DIA of Dangara district initiated a criminal case against two individuals under Article 277 (Hooliganism) of the Criminal Code. Subsequently, both were detained in accordance with procedural protocols.

The Dangara district prosecutor's office is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the deceased's demise. To ascertain the cause of death, a forensic medical examination has been ordered.

Shamsutdinov assures, "The investigation and inspection procedures will be carried out comprehensively, thoroughly, and impartially, leading to a legal decision based on the findings.”
