A suspect from Uzbekistan implicated in the deaths of three individuals has been apprehended in Kazakhstan

According to "RIA Novosti," Kazakhstan authorities detained an Uzbek citizen believed to be involved in the deaths of three individuals in Russia, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.

The individual, identified as an Uzbek national, was apprehended at the Jibek-Joli checkpoint in the Turkestan region while attempting to cross the border. The report indicates that he is suspected of being involved in the killing of three individuals in the Moscow region in 2016, alongside his accomplice.

Between February 19 and February 27, 2024, the Kazakhstan Ministry of Internal Affairs apprehended a total of 87 fugitives within the country, 17 of whom were apprehended at the request of foreign law enforcement agencies.

It's noteworthy that the Uzbek suspect had previously been arrested in Istanbul on charges related to illegal trafficking of narcotics and psychotropic substances.
