Teen electrocuted in Chirchiq while trying to take a selfie on top of a train car

A 17-year-old boy was electrocuted in Chirchiq, Tashkent region, after climbing onto a train car to take a selfie. This was reported by Millar.

According to information provided by doctors, the incident occurred on April 1 this year in Chirchiq. The boy, born in 2009, had gone with his friends to the Bo‘zsuv railway station in the city and climbed onto one of the train cars to take a selfie.

Unexpectedly, the teenager was severely electrocuted due to the high voltage in the electric system. Doctors said he suffered burns to 85 percent of his body.

The patient is currently receiving intensive treatment. According to doctors, his condition is improving.

It is worth noting that earlier, two children in Tashkent’s Yunusabad district were also electrocuted while trying to take a selfie on top of a train car.
