Children electrocuted while trying to take a selfie on train carriage in Tashkent

Two children were electrocuted while attempting to take a selfie on a train carriage in the Yunusobod district of Tashkent. The incident was reported by "Millar".

The accident took place at the Chukursoy railway station near the Jome market. According to reports, one of the children climbed approximately one meter above the ground and was hanging onto the side ladder of a train carriage when he was struck by a high-voltage electric current.

Emergency medical services arrived at the scene and provided immediate first aid before transporting the victims to the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care. The children, aged 12 and 13, suffered burns covering approximately 50 percent of their bodies.

It is worth recalling that a similar incident occurred in September last year in the Uchkuprik district of the Fergana region. There, two schoolchildren were electrocuted while trying to take a selfie atop a grain-carrying train wagon.
