Body of young child found in canal in Bostonliq (video)

Two children aged 10 and 8 were swept away in the Bozsuv canal, which flows through Bostonliq district of Tashkent region. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported this.

According to the report, on June 17 this year, the Tashkent Regional Department of Emergency Situations received a report that two minors born in 2016 and 2018, who lived in the Obod mahalla of Bostonliq district, had accidentally fallen into the Bozsuv canal flowing below their home.

As a result of search and rescue operations, diver-rescuers found the body of one of the children in the water on June 21.

Search and rescue operations are currently continuing without interruption by diver-rescuers to find the second child.

Earlier, it was reported that a man who was being swept away in the Bozsuv canal in Tashkent region on June 19 had been rescued by emergency workers.
