A video circulated on social media showed the district governor discovering that the meals for 150 children in a Bukhara region kindergarten included only 300 grams of meat. To clarify the situation, QALAMPIR.UZ contacted Dilfuza Sobirova, the press secretary of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.

It was revealed that Vahob Qahhorov, governor of Peshku district, visited the 14th kindergarten in the district. In the video, the mayor entered the kindergarten kitchen and weighed the meat in the food being prepared, finding 300 grams of meat. This amount was intended for the second meal served to 151 children.

"There are 168 children enrolled in these 14 kindergartens. The second meal was prepared for 151 children. All the meat in the pasta kebab was removed. When weighed, it totaled 300 grams," the mayor stated in the video, acknowledging the efforts of the nurse, cook, and deputy head of the kindergarten.

According to the ministry's press secretary, a working group led by the district governor was formed on July 10 to review the operations of social facilities. During this review, the activities of the 14th kindergarten were scrutinized. It was found that 5.85 kg of meat products were used in preparing the first meal, and 300 grams of meat were allocated to the second meal.

Simultaneously, the kindergarten head resigned following his own request.
