Crane boom collapses onto kindergarten roof in Tashkent

On March 25, a crane boom installed at a residential complex under construction by a private entrepreneur collapsed onto the roof of a kindergarten in the Tashkent region. The incident was reported by the press service of the Tashkent regional preschool and school education department.  

According to the report, the incident occurred at approximately 19:10 at Kindergarten No. 5 in the "Bakht" neighborhood of Yangiyul city. Preliminary information suggests that heavy rainfall may have contributed to the collapse. The falling boom caused significant damage to the kindergarten's roof.  

Firefighters promptly arrived at the scene and dismantled the crane boom.  

The construction company responsible for the site has already begun repair work on the damaged roof and has pledged to complete the restoration within three days.  

As a precautionary measure, kindergarten operations have been temporarily suspended. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
