Why was the attraction in Bukhara broken? An official comment was made

Earlier, we reported that a ride, in the Bukhara region, on which a couple and their child were sitting, broke and threw them 6 meters.  The incident took place on the “Twister” attraction in the central culture and recreation park named “Somonii” in the city of Bukhara.  The Mining, Geological and Industrial Safety Inspection (“Kontekhnazorat”) issued a statement regarding the incident.

It is noted that in December 2022, in order to prevent emergency situations, in cooperation with the employees of the emergency departments, attractions in the cultural and recreational park “Somoniliy” in the city of Bukhara, including “Twister” belonging to the individual entrepreneur “Khalikov Shuhrat”  a preventive event was conducted to study the safety situation of the attraction.  As a result, it was found that this attraction was not subjected to static and dynamic tests, a permit for the use of the attraction was not obtained in the prescribed manner, and a person responsible for its safe use was not appointed.

The working group that conducted the study gave an instruction to eliminate these shortcomings and prohibited the use of the attraction.
 Despite this, arbitrary use of the attraction continued and daily technical control was not carried out by the responsible person.  As a result, the metal device that secured the seats of the attraction collapsed from the inside, broke off from the body of the attraction, and one family (3 people) was injured.

“The internal affairs authorities are investigating the situation.  “Kontekhnazorat is agreeing with the business representative to carry out an inspection of the attraction “Twister” belonging to “Khalikov Shuhrat” Individual Entrepreneurship,” the report says.
