Police inspector saves woman who jumped into a river in Bukhara (video)

In Bukhara Region’s Vobkent District, a preventive inspector of the Internal Affairs Department rescued a woman who had jumped into a river. The Public Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported the incident.
According to the information, on January 29 at around 4:30 p.m., a preventive inspector from the Vobkent District Internal Affairs Department noticed a woman throwing herself into the river. Acting promptly, the officer entered the water, pulled the woman to the riverbank, and immediately called an ambulance. She was then taken to a hospital.
The report states that the woman is currently in stable condition. It was also noted that she is originally from Gijduvan District and is the mother of four children.
Earlier, it was reported that a group of underage girls had been involved in a so-called “self-administered punishment” incident in Bukhara.
