Today, Fayzullaev may be named Asia's best young player

Today, on October 29, the Asian Football Confederation will hold an awarding ceremony in Seoul, the capital of South Korea, to honor the best in continental football.

The ceremony recognizes players, coaches, and officials who have showcased their talents during major tournaments in 2023, particularly the 2023 AFC Asian Cup and the 2023 AFC Futsal Cup.

In addition to the Player of the Year and Female Player of the Year awards, the achievements of coaches, member associations, and regional associations will also be acknowledged. A total of 21 winners will be celebrated this evening.

Uzbekistani athletes are among the final three candidates for the awards. Notably, Abbosbek Fayzullaev, a member of the Uzbekistan national team and CSKA Moscow, has a chance to be named the best young player in Asia. Dilshod Rahmatov, also a member of the Uzbekistan national futsal team, will contend for the title of the best futsal player of the year on the continent.

The names of the winners will be announced during the ceremony, which will begin at 16:00 Tashkent time.
