8207CSKA Moscow has raised the salary of Uzbek midfielder Abbosbek Fayzullaev without extending his contract, the club’s General Director Roman Babaev confirmed.
"We believed that Abbas's salary should increase, regardless of what is indicated in his contract. The club has such a practice in this regard: if we find that someone's work is worth a higher salary, we do not wait to extend the contract. Therefore, we increased Fayzullaev's salary without extending his contract," Babaev stated.
Fayzullaev, who plays as an attacking midfielder, joined CSKA from Pakhtakor last summer. His current contract with the Moscow club is set to expire at the end of June 2026. This season, the 21-year-old has made 16 appearances in the Russian Premier League, scoring twice and providing three assists. Additionally, he recorded one goal and three assists in seven Russian Cup matches.
Fayzullayev’s rising profile extends beyond the club level. He was recently named Uzbekistan's Best Player of 2024, reflecting his impressive performances for both CSKA and the national team.
