Abbosbek Fayzullayev gets married (video)

Today, July 7, the wedding ceremony of Uzbekistan national team player Abbosbek Fayzullayev is taking place. The celebrations were organized in Fayzullayev’s native Sirdarya region and in Tashkent city.

According to reports, the footballer did not want to publicize the wedding ceremony. Some footage from the wedding held in Sirdarya on July 5 that had circulated on social media was even deleted. Fayzullayev may have wanted the ceremony to remain modest.

However, it is difficult for one of the country’s brightest footballers to stay out of the public spotlight. For this reason, some videos from today’s wedding ceremony in Tashkent, July 7, have circulated online. The footage shows that prominent guests attended Fayzullayev’s wedding, including First Deputy Chairman of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan Otabek Umarov, Ravshan Ermatov, Bahodir Jalolov, Oybek Qosimov and Murodjon Ahmadaliyev. Young national team defender Abdukodir Khusanov is also attending the ceremony.

For reference, Abbosbek Fayzullayev recently participated with the Uzbekistan national team in the World Cup being held in the Americas and scored the team’s historic first goal. Although his World Cup campaign did not end happily, Fayzullayev’s performance as a winger for the White Wolves received special recognition and attention.
