Several governors were honored with awards

In commemoration of the thirty-third anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a presidential decree was issued to honor a group of civil servants and employees from various production and socio-economic sectors.

According to the decree, Shuhratbek Kushakbaevich Abdurahmanov, Governor of the Andijan region; Zoyir Toirovich Mirzaev, Governor of the Tashkent region; and Erkinjon Okbutaevich Turdimov, Governor of the Samarkand region, were conferred with the Order "Fidokorona xizmatlari uchun (for Selfless Services)."

Additionally, Ulugbek Berdikobilovich Kasimov, Governor of the Surkhandarya region, and Jurabek Rahimovich Rahimov, Governor of the Khorezm region, were awarded the Order of "Mehnat shuhrati (Fame of Labour)."

Normat Tulkinovich Tursunov, Governor of the Navoi region, and Mahmud Parsamatovich Kholbutaev, Mayor of the Sharof Rashidov district in the Jizzakh region, received the "Do'stlik ordeni (Order of Friendship)."

Furthermore, several mayors were honored with the "Shuhrat (Fame)" medal. Among the recipients are Lutfiddin Juraevich Abdullaev, Mayor of the Yakkabog district in the Kashkadarya region; Shuhrat Mirsodikovich Musaev, Mayor of the Uychi district in the Namangan region; and Sanobarkhan Abdinabievna Nosirova, Mayor of the Buston district in the Andijan region.

It is noteworthy that the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation, along with the Minister of Sports, were also recognized with awards earlier.
