“Baxti Tashkentskiy” receives 20-year prison sentence

Today, July 19, the Yunusobod District Court on criminal cases concluded the trial of Baxtiyor Zafarovich Qudratullayev, known as “Baxti Tashkentskiy,” and delivered its verdict. This was reported by a QALAMPIR.UZ correspondent from the courtroom.

According to the court's ruling, Baxtiyor Qudratullayev was found not guilty on some charges and guilty on others. He was sentenced to 20 years of imprisonment.

Previously, the prosecutor stated that the charges against Baxtiyor Qudratullayev were substantiated, that there were no mitigating circumstances, and that all other factors were taken into account. The prosecutor requested the court to find him guilty under several articles of the Criminal Code, including Article 242 (Organizing a Criminal Community), Article 165 (Extortion), Article 168 (Fraud), Article 104 (Intentional Grievous Bodily Harm), Article 109 (Intentional Minor Bodily Harm), and Article 276 (Illegal Manufacture, Acquisition, Storage, and Other Actions with Narcotic or Psychotropic Substances without the Intent to Distribute). Under Article 59 of the Criminal Code, the prosecutor sought a final sentence of 20 years of imprisonment for multiple crimes and, under Article 34, to classify “Baxti Tashkentskiy” as a particularly dangerous recidivist, with the sentence to be served in a maximum-security colony.

Additionally, the state prosecutor requested the court to apply Article 96 of the Criminal Code, which mandates compulsory treatment for drug addiction.
