20046Today, July 19, the Yunusobod District Court announced the verdict in the case related to "Baxti Tashkentskiy." As part of this case, the sons of Baxtiyor Qudratullayev, Bekzod Zafarov, and Ixtiyor Qudratullayev, also received their sentences. This was reported by a QALAMPIR.UZ correspondent from the courtroom.
According to the court's ruling, Bekzod Zafarov was sentenced to 11 years in prison. He will serve his sentence in a general-regime colony.
Baxti Tashkentskiy’s younger son, Ixtiyor Qudratullayev, was sentenced to 9 years in prison. He will also serve his sentence in a general-regime colony.
The elder son, Bekzod Zafarov, was charged under Article 165, Part 3, Section “v” (Extortion) and Article 168, Part 4, Section “v” (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan. The state prosecutor requested an 11-year prison sentence for Bekzod Qudratullayev.
The younger son, 27-year-old Ixtiyor Qudratullayev, was charged under Article 165, Part 3, Sections “a” and “v” (Extortion) of the Criminal Code. According to the state prosecutor, Ixtiyor Qudratullayev was found guilty of one episode, and the charge was substantiated.
“Ixtiyor Qudratullayev was found guilty of committing crimes under Article 165, Part 3, Sections ‘a’ and ‘v’ (Extortion). Considering his lack of previous convictions and other factors, taking into account the severity of the crime and his involvement in other crimes, I request a 12-year prison sentence without applying Article 57 (Imposition of a Lighter Sentence) and Article 72 (Conditional Sentence) of the Criminal Code. The sentence should be served in a general-regime colony,” stated the state prosecutor.
It should be noted that earlier, the court sentenced Baxtiyor Qudratullayev to 20 years in prison, his brother Shuhrat Qudratullayev to 10 years and 6 months in prison, and the only female defendant in the case, Nargiza Jumaniyozova, to 4 years and 4 months of restricted freedom.
