As a result, an administrative report was filed against Giyasov for committing an offense by engaging in such an activity. The Ministry of Ecology’s press service confirmed this development.
According to Article 111 of the relevant law, cruel treatment of animals—including torture or intentional harm—can lead to a fine ranging from three to five times the basic amount.
If the offense is repeated within a year after an administrative penalty, or if committed in the presence of a minor, or causes harm or death to animals, the fine can increase to five to ten times the basic amount, or the offender may face up to fifteen days of administrative arrest.
In this case, Giyasov was fined three times the basic amount, totaling 1 million 125 thousand sums. He has since apologized for his actions.
