16-year-old boy dies after jumping off a roof in Andijan (video)

In Andijan, a 9th-grade student died after jumping from a roof. Hayot Shamsutdinov, the press secretary for the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan, informed QALAMPIR.UZ of the incident.

The event occurred on June 21 at approximately 3:30 AM in Andijan. A minor born in 2008, identified as M.K., died at the scene on A. Musayev Street, No. 23, in the "Uzbegim" neighborhood of Andijan, after committing suicide by jumping from the roof of an apartment building.

M.K., who had been living under the care of his grandfather Sh.T. after the death of his parents, took his own life.

"In response to this situation, the city prosecutor's office has ordered a forensic examination and is conducting investigations," the report states.

It should be noted that a similar incident occurred earlier in Olmaliq, Tashkent region, where a young girl died after jumping from the roof of a 16-story building.
