Al-Bayan Palace hosts state reception for Mirziyoyev

2370On February 17, following high-level negotiations at Al-Bayan Palace in Kuwait City, a ceremonial reception was held in honor of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The event, attended by heads of diplomatic missions in Kuwait, underscored the deepening ties between the two nations.
Earlier in the day, President Mirziyoyev and Emir Sheikh Mish'al Al-Sabah held private discussions and extended talks with official delegations. The leaders focused on strengthening friendly relations and expanding comprehensive cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kuwait.
As a result of the negotiations, both sides adopted a joint statement on the development of comprehensive partnership relations and signed several key agreements, including:
- Agreement on cooperation in the industrial sector;
- Protocol to the Agreement on Air Transport;
- Agreement on collaboration in the labor sector;
- Agreement on developing "smart" cities;
- Agreement on cooperation in arts and culture;
- Agreement on healthcare cooperation;
- Tourism development program for 2025-2027;
- Agreement with the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development.
