Judiciary authorities are empowered to apply responsibility for violations of legislation in the field of intellectual property and public services. This is stated in the law "On amendments and additions to certain legal documents in connection with the improvement of the system of justice authorities of Uzbekistan," approved by the senators.

With this law, the amendment to the Customs Code provides for the protection of intellectual property in the export regime. Additionally, the period for issuing certificates on the right to use the trademark, the name of the place of origin of the goods, and the name of the place of origin of the goods is being shortened.

Furthermore, judicial authorities are empowered to apply responsibility for violations of legislation in the field of intellectual property and public services.

A 50 percent discount will be applied to the use of state services for persons registered in the "Unified Register of Social Protection" information system, as well as for persons with disabilities of groups I and II.
