8 boxers from Uzbekistan won the Stranja tournament

Today, the “Stranja” traditional boxing tournament is being held in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. In the program held yesterday, 22 February, 9 boxers from Uzbekistan entered the ring.
In the -75 kg weight category, two representatives of Uzbekistan fought for a place in the next round. In the contest between Alokhan Abdullayev and Abdulaziz Abdupattoyev, Abdullayev won. Shungor Abdurasulov, Ruslan Abdullayev, Adhamjon Muhiddinov, Mujibillo Tursunov, Dilshod Abdumurodov, Bahadir Jalolov and Havasbek Asadullayev also moved to the next stage.
In the women’s -52 kg weight category, Nozimakhon Bulturova entered the ring against Jyoti from India and was defeated.
It should be noted that the tournament called “Small World Championship” serves as preparation for the World Championship and Olympic competitions for boxers. The competition will last until 26 February.
